Friendly General Reminders

Sheesh! It's going to be such a rough week for the majority of our upperclassmen team members this week. But let's not forget our major objectives here on the CA-935 armed drill team!

You guys must remember to maintain your grades first. Beside having fun on team and dedicating one hour after school daily, you guys must remember that your academics are everyone's first priority. You have your parents, your JROTC instructors, and your team's support when it comes to school. What's the point in trying so hard in school, if your grades slip and you can't be on team because of your low GPA? Grades matter! You know who you are if you need to do some major studying!

Also, this year's new armed team uniform will be as follows. Like it? :]

Volunteering Soon!

As the cadet handbook states, "Community service is another integral part of the JROTC curriculum. It is mandatory for all cadets to participate in 10 hours of community service projects per semester."

As top performaning cadets in the corps, armed team members shall continue to prove that title by performing community events within San Diego County to qualify these expectations, AND above all, better ourselves and our community.

Continue to check the blog: http://935armedteam.blogspot.com/
For updates on events, you shall be informed during practice by the commander.
Expect fun and informative, helping and volunteering-oriented events such as fire-station safety training, team-wide food drives, and everything inside, outside, and between.

Retrospective Reflection

On behalf of the upperclassmen of this year's team (c/Sergio Perez, c/Kevin Huynh, c/Darrione Soriano, c/Ryan Antonio), it is our ongoing Falcon spirit-of-desire to see the team continue its performance legacy. Since 1993, the Armed Drill Team has won innumerable awards from local and national drill meets. It is now the 2009~2010 generation's turn. Here are a few pictures from the current upperclassmen's underclassmen years to inspire the incoming freshmen.
